SEMDSA HAS 4 GREAT RESEARCH GRANTS TO BE AWARDED AT THE CONGRESS VIEW THE AWARDS PAGE

The Congress Organizing Committee announces the 56th Society for Endocrinology, Metabolism and Diabetes of South Africa Congress to be held at the Radisson Hotel & Conference Centre, OR Tambo International Hotel, Johannesburg from 8 – 10 September 2023, with pre-congress workshops taking place on Thursday, 7 September 2023.

The Congress will showcase the latest basic and clinical endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism related research in South Africa. Preference will be given to original research that has not been published or presented previously.

Abstracts for oral and poster presentations should be submitted on-line at https://scatterlings.eventsair.com/semdsa-2023/abstracts no later than 16:00 hrs South African Standard Time (SAST) on Friday, 30 June 2023. Authors will be informed of the outcome of their submissions in early August 2023.

Submitted abstracts should be limited to 350 words and may be submitted in the following categories:

• Bone and mineral metabolism
• Diabetes and glucose metabolism
• Pituitary and neuroendocrinology
• Paediatric endocrinology
• Reproductive endocrinology
• Thyroid
• Obesity
• Other
